Founded in 1920, the Uvalde Area Chamber of Commerce has proven to be an invaluable local business and community asset - standing as the unanimous voice behind businesses both new and long established encouraging economic growth, professional standards, community involvement, and local commitment. 

Receiving no state or federal tax or appropriations revenues, we operate a budget solely from the receipt of annual membership dues and community fundraiser events. 

The operating expenses of the Chamber include: general office expenses at our permanent home (340 North Getty Street); payment of ChamberMaster software systems giving members ample benefits; and provision of skilled staff members dedicated to the continued success of the Chamber, Uvalde community, and each individual member.



The Uvalde Area Chamber of Commerce is organized to achieve the objectives of:  Advancing, protecting and promoting the economic well-being of Uvalde and the Uvalde trade region and to increase the prosperity of the area by promoting and encouraging the growth of existing businesses and the establishment of new businesses; serve as an effective non-partisan, non-sectarian voice for business on legislative, business, social, governmental and community issues affecting the Uvalde region; preventing or addressing obstacles that are detrimental to the expansion and growth of business and the community if they arise.
