BANDERA/MEDINA and UVALDE COUNTY

Premier Texas Hunting Ranches offers a limited number of exclusive management & trophy hunts per year. All hunts are professionally guided & comply with all TPW regulations. We offer hunting from blinds over feeding areas, walk to areas, safari-style driving in hunting rigs, & rattling at places where bucks are known to roam. Non-native hunting is conducted year around. MEDINA COUNTY and UVALDE COUNTY

Medina County - 1400 acres located 5 miles SW of Castroville, less than an hour from San Antonio. Has produced 190 class bucks. $12/per acre/limit of 3 hunters/deer season only.
Uvalde County – guided hunts; $100 guide fee after first day.  Any size mature 8 point buck - $1500.  9 point & up - based on Boone & Crockett for price.  Drop tine deer extra. UVALDE COUNTY:

War Horse Ranch ~  Package hunts  for trophy whitetail, 40 species of exotics, turkey and dove hunting on own ranch as well as hunting concessions on over 20 different ranches totaling 30,000 acres. Spanish Dagger Hunting Resort ~ Upland game bird hunts include pheasant, chucker and quail – guide and dogs included.   Seasonal dove and turkey hunts for groups of three or more also available.  The more than 2,000 acre ranch is located on Highway 90 East, between Knippa and Uvalde, approximately 3 miles east of Uvalde.  Lodging available – a main camp house as well as four private bedroom/bath guest rooms can accommodate up to 28 people.  New this season is an outdoor, covered pavilion.  For complete details contact Spanish Dagger, P.O. Hacienda Ranch – Located 8 miles NW of Uvalde, on 467 acres, with the Nueces River meandering along the southern boundary over a mile and a half.  Access to an additional 2,000 acres within 35 minutes of the lodge.  The ranch has not been hunted on since 1996.  Whitetail deer, dove, hogs and exotic available during appropriate season in all-inclusive package.  The lodge is an old antebellum style mansion built in the late 1800’s and completely restored in 1999.  It has 6 bedrooms and bathrooms.  In addition there is a separate 2 bedroom, 2 bath house.  For complete details contact Hacienda Ranch,  P.O. Uvalde County  - Hill Country Hunting  This is the first year to offer day hunts on this scenic 2500 acre Hill Country ranch located in Northern Uvalde County.  There are a variety of species to include White Deer, Rio Grande Turkey, Feral Hogs, Javelina, Rams, Aoudad, Axis deer, Cats and other varmints.  Open bunkhouse will accommodate up to 8 hunters and there are other accommodations available for couples.  Both weekday and weekend packages are available with or without meals.  Contact Earl (830) 279-9195 or Jarrell (830) 597-6300 for package details and bookings.
